SCG Skills Event
Celtic3d will be giving a live 3d printing demo at the Scottish Construction Group (SCG) Skills Event at the Aberdeen Town House on the 16th February. Â The event is hosted by Aberdeen City Council and Morgan Sindall and is open to school groups (S3-6).
The overall event includes demonstrations of virtual reality, talks from trainees and senior managers in the construction industry and a tour of the nearby Marischal Square development.
Celtic3d is supporting one of the break-out sessions where we will touch on the role of models in architecture and construction and demonstrate the process of how to take a CAD file and prepare it for 3d printing.  We will have our 3d printed models of Marischal Square on-show, and 3d printing live to show the process in action.
