Live 3d printing demo at Scottish Construction Group Skills Event

3d print of One Marischal Square, Aberdeen

SCG Skills Event

Celtic3d will be giving a live 3d printing demo at the Scottish Construction Group (SCG) Skills Event at the Aberdeen Town House on the 16th February.  The event is hosted by Aberdeen City Council and Morgan Sindall and is open to school groups (S3-6).

The overall event includes demonstrations of virtual reality, talks from trainees and senior managers in the construction industry and a tour of the nearby Marischal Square development.

Celtic3d is supporting one of the break-out sessions where we will touch on the role of models in architecture and construction and demonstrate the process of how to take a CAD file and prepare it for 3d printing.  We will have our 3d printed models of Marischal Square on-show, and 3d printing live to show the process in action.
